El Portillo Beach Resort. TEL(809) 240-6100. FAX (809) 240-6104. An all-inclusive property with bungalows set in a lush palm tree forest. The deep sandy section of the beach fronting the hotel is not very wide although the narrow  beach continues ad infinitum along the palm-lined shoreline.

Deep sandy areas with (take note snorkelers) coral formations just off-shore.
